I'm from South Africa, and I teach English in Taichung City, Taiwan in order to study Chinese at a nearby University. I hope this website will help me to remember experiences and practice my Chinese.

Taipei's Temples
Images 1 to 3 are from LongShan Temple, and the rest of the media were taken at BoAn Temple. Picture 7 is of thousands of memorial lights which families place in the temple in remembrance of deceased relatives.

(download)Today seems to be day of religious significance here in Taiwan, as there have been these kinds of street processions to and from local temples all day. I wonder what's going on.
