How Did This Get Here?
I went exploring on my scooter on Saturday afternoon, and found what I'm convinced is a sea shell among a betel nut plantation at the top of a mountain. How did it get there, I wonder?

Some Scenery and Typhoon Damage
Went for a nice long scooter drive yesterday on the number 3 North, and the number 8 East. I couldn't get much further than Gu Guan because the road was closed, presumably due to the damage caused by the recent killer typhoon, 'Morakot'. You can see some of its destructive effects in the pics.
