The Spiritual Brain
'The Spiritual Brain - a Neuroscientist's Case for the Existance of the Soul' by Mario Beauregard and Denyse O'Leary caught my eye a while ago, and when I spotted it again this evening, I finally took the plunge and bought it. I'm only on page 27, but already it's proving to be a fascinating read. Here's a sample from page 3 of the introduction:
"The brain, however, is not the mind; it is an organ suitable for connecting a mind to the rest of the universe." Never thought of it that way...
