Besta electronic multi-lingual dictionary
I'm here in Taiwan to get fluent (up to a point) in Mandarin Chinese, and this amazing translation machine is going to help me get there. With it I can look up not only the English equivalent to thousands of Chinese characters, but I can also see the stroke order and phonetic breakdown, listen to the pronunciation, or record my own voice speaking a word or phrase to compare with the standard. It even has handwriting recognition for both Chinese and English, or a multiple of other ways to enter or search for Chinese characters. It used to take me about 7 minutes to look up a single Chinese character, but with this machine, that is down to one minute or so.
This thing is going to save me tens of hours a month in my journey towards proficiency!
